Description

800 Litre Water Tank - 800 litre Rainwater Wall Tank / Water Butt

The original, durable, slimline 800 litre water tank from 3P Technik for space-saving storage of a larger volume of rainwater.

Free Delivery Mainland UK. The Blue Grey Granite colour is currently in our Summer Sale too!

These 800L Rainwater Tanks are ideal for medium scale Rainwater Saving or Harvesting, and are often specified by professionals where the bulk storage of rainwater and a compact footprint are required. They are also perfectly suited for storing mains water for emergency use, for example, in case of fire as a Fire Water Tank. A step-up from the water butt sizes, the 800L Wall Tank enters into the world of the true rainwater storage 'tank' and is perfect for a vast range of uses - be they in the home, garden or workplace.

The water tank footprint is perfect for use where site space or access is limited. With it's small base of just 80cm x 60cm they can fit just about anywhere around the outside of a modern dwelling space. The height at 179cm means that it will fit through most building doorways.

When placed against a wall, space must be provided to allow the tank to deflect once filled without touching the wall.

Ideal for storing rainwater that could be supplied to, for example; utility rooms, wash-down areas, workshops (for water-reliant tools), toilet spaces, or maybe even under a garage or carport for cleaning the car and watering the garden. Not forgetting that rainwater is softer than main-supplied water and is ideally used around the house in hard-water sensitive appliances or for cleaning glass. The keen gardener with a poly-tunnel would also find this an ideal size for feeding irrigation systems.

Our slim 800 litre water butt is available in five attractive matt colours - Black, Granite Grey, Blue Grey Granite, Green and Sand. It comes with an accessory and fitting kit for a quick and easy start to harvesting rain water which includes Hi-Flow plastic tap, metal wall fixing bracket, multi holesaw set, heavy duty thick rubber grommets and screws.

How to collect Rainwater

We recommend connecting your water tank to the downpipe of your roof guttering system using the 3P Filter Collector. This rainwater filter is also a rainwater diverter with built in overflow and winter "off" setting to stop collecting water. It is everything you need for collecting water from your downpipe and filter any debris before transferring the water into the tank. It is offered at a special price when purchased with the Wall tank.

To purchase a rainwater diverter along with your tank, just select a colour to match your downpipe to include the filter collector in your order (1 sent with each wall tank. If no filter collector is required select "none").

This filter collector connects your tank directly to your downpipe positioning your wall tank approximately 9-13cm from the edge of your downpipe (depending on the diameter of your downpipe and which size connection hole you choose to make). You can position the Wall Tank further away from the downpipe using our Long Link Kits available in 3 lengths; 1m, 2m and 5m.

How to link water tanks together

If you already have a wall tank (or other water butt with a 3/4 inch BSP female threaded connection point near the base of the tank) you can purchase a 3/4" Tank to Tank Connection Kit.

This unit is also the base unit for our Wall Tank Rainwater Systems, fully thought-out and assembled systems that are suitable for a variety of purposes. If you have need of a complete and integrated pumped-system then do pop over to our Wall Tank Systems, page and have a look.
