Calmed Inlets

Stop stored rainwater from going smelly with a calmed inlet. This simple device keeps the water oxygenated without disturbing the sediment at the bottom of the water storage tank.

A calmed inlet is a simple device that ensures that the water coming into the rainwater storage tank jets upwards from the bottom of the tank and oxygenates the water above the sediment without actually disturbing the settled debris. The natural movement of the water above the Calmed Inlet when it rains is enough to keep the water oxygenated (and stops it from going smelly).

This the second step in a professional rainwater harvesting system.
