Water Cooled Pump Inverter

This version of the Mac3 HydroControllers (programmable variable speed inverters) is water cooled. It is in-line mounted in any position along the pump pipe work via the in built 1.25" female BSP mountings. This unit contains a built-in pressure sensor and flow meter. It varies the pump speed to match demand.

All HydroControllers come with built-in pump protection including dry-run, under/over voltage, short circuit, low system pressure, output over voltage, sensor failure, over temperature and water hammer)

These HydroControllers are Single Phase to control a Single Phase pump up to 1.5hp or 2.2hp (other options are available on a longer lead time, please talk to to the Technical Team for advice).

Easy to install and the operating parameters, including restart pressure, are easily programmed using the LED display interface.

It is a unit with ADVANCED features which means that it is able to communicate with up to eight other pumps (via their HydroControllers). This "multimaster" mode allows the HydroController units to self-appoint the role of "Master". Should the current Master unit develop a fault, the master role will be taken by another unit and the system can continue to function as intended. This greatly improves fault tolerance and reduces maintenance costs.

The ADVANCED unit also features two extra output relays and two auxiliary digital (switch) inputs which can be configured as needed. It is also designed to be compatible with the Mac3 Multipress allowing the system to function with a commercial irrigation controller.

STANDARD verions of this water cooled pump (controls a single pump and optionally an additional fixed speed pump) inverter along with three phase controllers for three phase pumps and single to three phase models are available.
