Transfer Pump for Salt Water or Fresh Water
This Puisi Amalfi 5 AC (Amalfi AC) Water Transfer Pump (230v) is a flexible impeller pump suitable for transferring fresh clean water, salt water or water with small non abrasive particles and debris without any risk of damage.
It is ideal for transferring water from a drum, bilge or other container. This water transfer pump is self-priming AC pump with flexible impellers. The pump body is made entirely of polypropylene and the chamber completely covered in stainless steel. This combined with the rubber impeller and stainless steel shaft makes it durable and versatile water transfer pump.
The motor can be used continuously as it is equipped with thermal protection. However this very much depends on the installation circumstances. Ideally the pump should be used for no more than 60mins with 30mins off. If in doubt please contact our Technical Team to discuss your requirements.
The pump must not be run dry - we recommend fitting a Float Switch if, when in use, this is likely to happen.

Note this pump is not suitable for: petrol/gasoline, diesel, flammable liquids, liquid foodstuffs, viscous liquids >5 cSt, corrosive chemical products or solvents
Optional Extras
Float Switch
A Float Switch floats in water and allows the pump to work when there is water in the tank. When the water drops and the float sinks it stops the pump from working. It therefore protects the pump from dry running and overheating. The height at which the float switch turns the pump off is determined by the point at which the float switch cable is held in position.
