Product Description
Our 1500 Litre (330 gallon) utility tank is a highly versatile water tank for non-potable water. Often used as a Fire Water Tank (Fire Sprinkler Tank) in Basements or Commercial Plant Rooms because of its small footprint and ability to fit through standard doorways and down staircases. Also highly recommended to collect Rainwater in above ground Rainwater Harvesting systems.
This tank has superb industrial strength & proven durability with internal bracing to limit shape flexing. The two 3/4" BSP Threaded ports are Brass lined for extra durability. It also has 2 x 2" (DN50) sealed stub spigots that need to be trimmed off (the blank ends need cutting/sawing off). Linking via these ports will give a higher flow rate between the tanks (better for fire tanks or commerial use).
The removable lid gives ample access to the inside of the tank (460mm diameter) if you want to install a submersible pump within the tank.
At 780mm deep (1200mm wide x 2000mm high) it fits through standard doorways and is easy to manoeuvre

Filter
If this tank is being used to store Rainwater, we recommend installing the 3P Filter Collector before the tank. The Filter Collector connects your Tank to your Downpipe and also filters the water, removing any debris, before transferring the water into the tank. The Filter Collector is ideal for roof areas up to 90m2. Other filters are available for larger roof areas.
Taps
Because this Water Tank can be used for any number of purposes, it doesn't come with a tap. You can, however, purchase taps from our Accessories Page.
Tank to Tank Connection Kit
Low-Flow Tank to Tank Connection Kit
A 3/4" Tank to Tank Linking Kit can be purchased to join two Water Tanks together using the lower 3/4" brass threaded ports. Available in 25cm and 1m lengths. You of course need to position the tanks so that the outlet ports are facing each other. There are two x 3/4" outlet ports at one end of the tanks only.
High-Flow Tank to Tank Linking Kit
The Utility Tank also has on the side 50mm ports. These are stub spigots that need to be trimmed off (the blank ends need cutting/sawing off). Linking via these ports will give a higher flow rate between the tanks (better for fire tanks or commerial use). To connect via these ports you can use the 50mm Tank to Tank Connection Kit.

Delivery
The Utility Water Tank comes with free delivery to UK Mainland addresses (prices to other places is worked out based on your postcode before checkout).
The Tank will arrive on a pallet. Our courier company will call you to arrange a delivery date and time convenient to you. They will unload the pallet from the vehicle for you and, where access is possible, move the pallet to a convenient place for you outside to unload the tank from the pallet.
