The DAB Verty Nova 400M is a compact, high-performance submersible sump pump designed for automatic drainage, flood control, and filtered rainwater pumping in domestic and light commercial applications across the UK. Built for reliability in tight spaces, this automatic water pump is ideal for sumps, basements, cellars, and rainwater harvesting tanks, even where access is restricted.

With its slim vertical design, the Verty Nova 400M operates in narrow chambers as small as 20 x 20 cm, making it perfect for modern drainage systems and rainwater harvesting tanks.

It can be used in either Automatic or Manual operation.

The integrated float switch ensures fully automatic operation—activating when water levels rise and switching off once the area is drained.

When switched to Manual operation the Verty Nova 400 the suction level of the pump will be down to 2-3 mm from ground level.

Engineered with durable, corrosion-resistant materials, including a tough technopolymer body and stainless steel components, this submersible drainage pump is suitable for clean water and filtered rainwater, as well as slightly dirty water containing small particles (up to 5 mm).

Delivering a maximum flow rate of up to 180 litres per minute and a maximum head of 9 metres, the DAB Verty Nova 400M provides powerful and efficient water removal. It also features a manual override function, allowing near-complete drainage down to just 2–3 mm, ideal for clearing residual water after flooding or emptying tanks.
