The Tower Water Butt is a vertical rainwater storage tank designed to provide high storage capacity while minimising the ground area required for installation. Its tall, narrow profile makes it suitable for locations where available garden space is limited but a larger volume of rainwater storage is required.
Available in 260-litre and 720-litre capacities, the Tower combines a compact footprint with a vertical storage format. The tank features a rendered plaster-effect finish, allowing it to integrate with modern building façades, garden walls and contemporary landscaping schemes.
Space-Efficient Vertical Rainwater Storage
Conventional water butts often require a relatively large ground area in proportion to their capacity. The Tower Water Butt uses its vertical design to maximise storage capacity while reducing its footprint.
This makes it suitable for installations including:

- Courtyards
- Locations adjacent to buildings and walls
- Narrow or restricted outdoor areas
- Larger gardens requiring increased rainwater storage capacity
The 260L model provides a compact solution for everyday garden watering, while the 720L model offers substantially greater storage capacity for larger gardens or applications with higher water demand.
Rendered Plaster-Effect Finish
The Tower Water Butt features a textured surface designed to replicate the appearance of rendered plaster. This gives the tank a more architectural appearance than a conventional smooth plastic water butt and allows it to complement modern residential properties and outdoor spaces.
The durable plastic construction is designed for permanent outdoor installation and is resistant to normal weather conditions.
Sealed Tank Design
The Tower is a completely enclosed water butt. This provides a clean external appearance but also affects the type of inlet connector that can be used.
Traditional tank connectors normally require access to the inside of the water butt in order to fit and tighten a backnut. As the Tower is enclosed, this type of connector is not suitable.
For this reason, the Tower can be connected using the optional 3P Filter Collector with Push-Fit Connector Kit, which has been specifically designed for enclosed water butts.

Customisable Tap Options
To suit both style and functionality preferences, this water butt is available with a choice of 3/4" tap - please choose from the options above:
- Black plastic high-flow tap – practical and efficient for frequent use
- Chrome metal tap – modern, polished appearance
- Brass metal tap – traditional, premium finish

Rainwater/Downpipe Diverter
The Tower water butts are enclosed tanks and are therefore suited to connection using a downpipe diverter designed for sealed water butts.
The optional 3P Filter Collector with Push-Fit Connector Kit (for Sealed Tanks) provides a combined rainwater collection, filtration and overflow solution. Unlike conventional tank connectors that require access inside the tank to secure a backnut, the push-fit connector is designed for installation from the outside.
A hole is drilled into the tank using the supplied drill, after which the specially designed grommet is inserted to create a secure and watertight connection. This makes it possible to connect the enclosed tank to the 3P Filter Collector without requiring internal access.
Tank to Tank Connection Kit
A Water Butt Linking Kit can be purchased to join two Water Tanks together using the lower 3/4" brass threaded port.
How to link water tanks together
If you already have a wall tank or water butt with a 3/4 inch BSP female threaded connection point near the base of the tank, you can connect them together with our 3/4" Tank to Tank Connection Kit.

Winter Care Precautions
During extremely cold winters, when daytime temperatures are below zero for several days, it is wise to ensure that the tank is only about 2/3rd's full and the water supply is turned off. This will prevent the frozen water from expanding and damaging the tank.
