Rainwater Diverter Kit with Push-Fit Tank Connector for Sealed Tanks – Grey

The market-leading 3P Filter Collector is supplied with our exclusive Push-Fit Universal Fitting Kit for straightforward connection to water butts and rainwater storage tanks where internal access is restricted or unavailable.

This version is specifically designed for installations where a conventional tank connector and internal back nut cannot be fitted. It is particularly suitable for sealed, enclosed, slimline and decorative water butts where reaching inside the tank is difficult or impossible.

The Push-Fit Universal Fitting Kit provides a secure, watertight connection without requiring access to inside the tank. After drilling the required opening, the engineered rubber grommet is installed through the tank wall, creating a sealed connection point for the supplied hose. This simplifies installation and removes the need to fit or tighten an internal back nut.

The 3P Filter Collector combines rainwater filtration, collection and diversion in a single compact unit. As rainwater flows through the downpipe, the stainless steel filter removes leaves, moss and larger debris before the filtered water is diverted to the storage tank.

The Filter Collector is compatible with virtually all standard UK domestic downpipes without the need for additional adaptors, including:

• Round downpipes from 68mm to 110mm diameter
• Square downpipes from 65mm to 75mm

With no moving parts, the Filter Collector requires minimal maintenance. The corrosion-resistant stainless steel filter mesh provides long-term filtration performance, while the UV-stabilised, impact-resistant plastic housing is designed to withstand frost, sunlight and year-round outdoor exposure.

During operation, filtered rainwater is diverted through the outlet and into the water butt or storage tank. Leaves, debris and excess water continue down the downpipe. Once the tank reaches capacity, the Filter Collector allows surplus water to continue through the downpipe, providing an automatic overflow function and helping to prevent overfilling.

The outlet is compatible with 32mm, 50mm and 75mm connections. This kit includes a 32mm diameter flexible hose and our 32mm x 30cm Push-Fit Universal Fitting Kit for installations where the inside of the tank cannot be accessed.

Why Choose the Push-Fit Universal Fitting Kit?

A common installation issue with conventional rainwater diverters is the requirement to access the inside of the water butt or tank to tighten an internal back nut.

This is not always possible, particularly with:

• Enclosed or sealed rainwater storage tanks
• Tanks with small or inaccessible inspection openings
• Any installation where internal access is restricted

The Push-Fit Universal Fitting Kit has been developed to overcome this problem.

Rather than using a conventional hosetail and internal back nut, the system uses a medium-duty rubber sealing grommet installed through the drilled opening in the tank wall. Once fitted, the grommet grips the tank wall securely and forms a reliable watertight seal, allowing the hose connection to be made entirely from the outside of the tank.

This makes the kit particularly useful for retrofit installations and tanks where internal access is not possible.

Other Versions

If you have access to the inside of your water butt or tank and need to position the storage tank away from the downpipe, the Filter Collector Universal provides a flexible connection option using a conventional tank fitting.

If your water butt or rainwater tank can be positioned close to the downpipe, the standard 3P Filter Collector without the hose connection kit may be the most suitable option.
