230L Flat Backed Water Butt in a Wooden Board Effect

The Norway Water Butt has a deeply grained and ultra-matt finish. It is modelled on real nordic spruce wooden shingles, however it is infact made of UV protected and weather resistant Polyethylene so it won't fade or crack in the weather.

This space-saving rectangular water butt is great for even the smallest gardens. It has a straight flat back, so will stand right up against walls, fences or sheds. The back of this butt is designed to go up against a wall and has features to ensure that the rectangular shape doesn't flex when it is filled with water.

The sloping lid is built into the waterbutt design; it is a completely sealed tank and therefore is completely child (and cat) safe, as the lid doesn't come off. This also means that the internals cannot be accessed for cleaning, so it is essential you have a good filter before your waterbutt to take out any leaves and debris that may form a sludge at the bottom of the water butt. We recommend the Filter Collector from 3P Technik for this (see options above). It filters the downpipe water, diverts it to your water butt and also acts as an overflow back down your downpipe when your water butt is full.

This water butt comes with a 3/4" brass threaded connection point at the front for the supplied Brass Tap, and side outlets for draining down, or connecting the water butt to another rain storage tank on either side (near the base).

Rainwater Diverter / Filter / Overflow (3 in one)

The 3P Filter Collector with Push-Fit connector Kit is specifically designed for enclosed water butts like the Norway. The Norway is a sealed tank; therefore, traditional tank connectors that require access inside the water butt to tighten a backnut will not work.

This Filter with connector kit includes a specially engineered push-fit grommet that is simply inserted into the drilled hole (drill supplied), creating a secure, watertight seal without needing to reach inside the tank. It provides a quick, reliable installation while allowing you to enjoy all the benefits of the premium 3P Filter Collector, including efficient leaf filtration and automatic overflow protection.

It is available in Black, Brown and Grey to suit the colour of your downpipe.

Tank to Tank Connection Kit

A Water Butt Linking Kit can be purchased to join two Water Tanks together using the lower 3/4" brass threaded ports.

How to link water tanks together

If you already have a wall tank (or other water butt with a 3/4 inch BSP female threaded connection point near the base of the tank) you can purchase a 3/4" Tank to Tank Connection Kit.

Winter Care Precautions

During extremely cold winters, when daytime temperatures are below zero for several days, it is wise to ensure that the tank is only about 2/3rd's full and the water supply is turned off. This will prevent the frozen water from expanding and damaging the tank.

Delivery

The Water Butt comes with free delivery to UK Mainland addresses (prices for other places are calculated based on your postcode before checkout).

The water tank will arrive on a pallet. Our courier company will call you to arrange a delivery date and time that is convenient for you. They will unload the pallet from the vehicle for you and, where access is possible, move the pallet to a convenient place for you to unload the tank from the pallet.
