Celtic Water use the information you provide us with to delivery your orders safely and securely. We protect the personal information you share with us - we don't give it out to third parties. 

The following statement describes how Celtic Water collects and uses your personal information.


1. Information Collection

Personal information means any information that is used to identify an individual, including, but not limited to, a first and last name, email address, physical address, title, occupation, industry, and other information which may be needed to provide a service or product, or carry out a transaction that you have requested.

We do not share your personal information with any other companies, individuals or organisations.  We do not sell email addresses or any other data for marketing or any other purposes.

When you browse our website, you do so anonymously.  We do not automatically collect personal information; we do track IP addresses to allow us to track which parts of the website an individual visitor has viewed, however most ISPs assign a new IP address at each logon and so an individual cannot be identified in this way.

Celtic Water collects personal information when you submit any online enquiry form of place an online order.  In this case we can only collect the information you have submitted, we do not collect any other data from your web browser.


2. Cookies

A cookie is a small data file that websites write onto your computer's hard drive when you visit them.  A cookie typically contains information such as a user ID for that particular website, and is used to track your visits to that particular site and to correctly display any personalisation or options such as remembering the contents of your shopping cart, greeting you by name, etc.  A cookie cannot read data from your PC or read data from other cookies. Celtic Water may use cookies for personalisation and to retain shopping cart contents.  If you prefer not to receive cookies you can set your browser to warn you before accepting cookies and refuse the cookie when your browser alerts you to it's presence.  You can also elect to refuse all cookies by turning the facility off in your browser, although some websites may not function properly without cookies enabled.


3. Third Party Sites

Where our site links you to any third parties website no personal information, cookies or otherwise will be transmitted.  You will only be directed to that site.  Celtic Water does not open third party websites within frames or via affiliate linking systems.


4. How We Use Collected Information

Celtic Water uses customer information to fulfil orders and enquiries, to personalise your experience on our website, to analyse sales/enquiry trends, and to update you via opt-in email lists subject to your approval.

If you provide us with personal information (your name, postal address, telephone, fax, or email address), or have done so in the past, via our websites, our publications or surveys we may use that information to send you updates on our latest services and promotions. You can choose to “opt out” of these communications.  To opt out of any email communications from us, please click the ‘unsubscribe’ link at the foot of the email in question.”


5. Information Sharing

Celtic Water does not share customer data with other companies or organisations, except where necessary to facilitate fulfilment of your order or enquiry (for example we may provide your phone number to assist a courier in finding your property).
